High gas prices makes me think twice about getting in the car these days. They say gas prices will go even higher by the summer time.

I’m still hung up on the BPA in the plastic bottles and cipy cups. Baby bottle was easy for me, my daughter was at that age that it was better if she was off bottle. But my heart goes to those little babies that depend on bottles. I buy all my baby bottles and cipy cups from Wal Mart, and I’ve noticed the last time I was there that they removed all the BPA bottles and cipy cups from shelves. To my surprise the Gerber baby bottles and many Gerber cipy cups and the Nuk nipples were still there but the sign said they have removed all products with BPA. I remember I Googled this and there was an article saying that even Nuk nipples are not safe??!! Read the rest of this entry »
Lately my daughter is having problem sleeping. She keeps screaming and crying until I pick her up or until she falls sleep being tired of all the crying. Last night was worst of all; I ended up picking her up and comforting her in the rocking chair.
I tried to put her in her crib several times without any luck, she kept crying very bad and was about to wake my son. Just about the time that I was thinking to myself “oh I wish she falls asleep soon I have lots of things to do” I looked at her innocent face. Read the rest of this entry »
My heart goes to these children and these mothers. I know that childcare services are trying to protect the children’s right, but couldn’t they do this in any other way. These kids or at least most of them have lived through abuse and in the most unusual way of life. The last thing these children need is to be questioned, requestioned publically, and taken DNA samples from. These kids were living in a very limited society I hope they won’t get too confused by big city rules. The life they had with all of its problems, they knew how to do it. As I said before because of the BPA in baby bottles, I decided to wean my daughter from bottle. Poor baby she is in such a bad mood since then. This is part of the reason I didn’t write since my last posting. My baby girl is cranky all day long to get to a bottle. I knew this would happen and to prevent myself from giving in to her I threw all the bottles away:)
She used to the sipy cups but never liked to have milk in them, I had to flavor the milk, after 3 days today was our best day so far she had 2 glasses of chocolate milk through the day. The worst part is that she can’t sleep easily without her bottle. For 3 days she wasn’t eating or sleeping properly, I hope she gets used to the idea soon.
