High Gas prices and ways I deal with it

High gas prices makes me think twice about getting in the car these days. They say gas prices will go even higher by the summer time.

Frankly, I’m very concerned what our kids life will be like. The rate of gas consumption is just unbelievable, I know the high price of gas is not about making people consume less, but I hope it those that.

I was always very careful in choosing my driving path. I would take short cuts and do things in an order so I don’t have go back and forth. Something else that helps use less gas is to drive in a steady speed; I read this in my car’s catalog.

Now-a-days I walk more and buy locally, I won’t go driving to a big department store for a single item. My kids have more outings getting to walk or ride the stroller and I get more exercise. I know our lives are more complicated then that of our grand parents but I think trying to consume less gas will make us be more green and help the local  mom-and-pop businesses.

Until later,
