My daughter turned two this week and we are having a kids party at a play center this weekend.
Choosing theme for girls is not that difficult. We are going with a Garden Fairy cake and matching plates, baloons, and table cloth. Thank god we are at the play center and there are people who will entertain these little 2 and 3 years olds. Otherwise I would be in big trouble entertaining them. 🙂
I had a difficult time to decide on the goodie bag though. I wanted to do something simple and at the same time unique and it had to be cheap! In my search on different magazines and websites, I found my thing on the Good Things for kids magazine by Martha Stewart. Turning a paper cup to a nice goodie bag. I changed it a bit. It is very easy and self explanatory.
You just have a cup big enough to hold your goodies. Make small wholes at the two side of cup at the top to make handle out of pipe cleaner. Glue some pretty papers around the cup covering almost 1/3 of it. Or you can decorate it with stickers. Fill it with some confetti papers and some candy and other goodies.
For thank you cards. You cut tulips out of card stock, or construction paper.
Cute idea! I'm going to do make a few of those with my daughter for her to keep her crayons and markers in. Happy birthday to your little one!
Thank you. The Birthday was today and it went well. All the girls were excited to receive their goodiebags and the boy couldn't wait to see what was in it 🙂
I saw your blog Stacey, wonderful idea's.
